Drosophila (Drosophila, melanogaster) is a choice model system for fundamental and applied biology. The French drosophila community is very active and comprises a wide range of diverse research groups. Every year, for the past 27 years, a French Drosophila Conference has been organized to promote exchanges between established scientists, graduate students and postdocs. This conference of about 120 to 150 people will showcase the latest advances in the following domains: morphogenesis and organogenesis, cellular communication and signaling, cell cycle and growth, physiology and metabolism, neurobiology and behavior, immunity, stem cells and models for human disease.
